The success of Kashmora is another feather in PVP’s cap, after the success of Kshanam and Oopiri this year. Brahmotsavam remains the lone disappointment for the production house in 2016. Everybody is aware of that Superstar Mahesh Babu’s starrer Family drama ‘Brahmotsavam’ was turned out commercially flop at the box office and it incurred huge losses to its buyers and distributors. Few distributors have sought compensation from PVP and Mahesh. According to the latest update, Prasad V. Potluri has handed over his recent production venture Kaashmora starring Karthi, Nayantara and Sridivya, to the distributors who face losses. The Nizam distributor who faced the loss of Rs 6 Cr with Srikantha Addala’s directorial venture, has grabbed Kashmora Nizam rights for free of cost. In the same way, the theatrical rights of periodic drama Kashmora were handed over to the Brahmotsavam distributors in ceded, Vizag and other areas. On its opening day Kashmora received mixed responses but did superb business. Currently it is running successfully at the box office.
