Telugu audiences have changed for better - they are encouraging low budget films with good content.
Bicchagadu changed the outlook for small movie makers and the most recently released Telugu film ‘Pelli Choopulu’ turned out a sleeping hit and drawing crowds even in rest of India markets and overseas.
The film that released on July 29th was directed by Tarun Bhaskar and has Vijay Devarakonda, Ritu Varma, and Nandu in central roles .
Now many TV Channels competed for the satellite rights and latest update says that Gemini TV acquired rights for Rs 2.35 Crores. The film collected around Rs 5 Crores shares in the first week and going strong through the second week. Made on mean budged of under Rs 1.5 Crores including all the promotion costs this is the biggest hits in Telugu in the recent times.
