Dhoni who came on a special charter plane, recalled his intial cricketing days when he use to travel by train, which took three days to reach Jalandhar, from where he purchased his bats.
Though many were under the impression this was skipper’s Mahendra Singh Dhoni's first Jalandhar visit, however, this notion was soon busted when the cricketer revealed his strong connection with the city during the launch of the official trailer of the movie MS Dhoni — The untold story on Wednesday.
Dhoni who was accompanied by film director Neeraj Pandey and Fox Satr Studios CEO Vijay Singh launched the trailer as fans thronged the Professional University (LPU) Phagwara in large numbers to get a glimpse of their favourite cricketer.
